Accent Equity comprises a number of investment funds established in the past decades to make buy-out and expansion capital investments in the Nordic region. Since 1994, a total of six funds have been raised with total commitments exceeding EUR 1.5 billion.

The funds are independent of each other, each having its own separate control function and mechanisms, each with a unique combination of investors and in separate legal structures. Each fund structure derives from the requirements of the investor base for that fund. As a fund approaches its targeted investment level, the interest of the investor base in a new fund is evaluated. Based on input and interest from the potential investors, a new fund structure tailored to demand is established to raise new commitments for a further investment journey.
Each fund is backed by well-reputed Nordic and international institutions – including public and private pension funds, insurance companies, endowment funds, asset managers and funds-of-funds.
Some 30 institutions from 15 countries make up the investor base, of which most are repeat investors. Overall, Nordic region represent approximately 24%, other Europe 51%, the US 20% and Rest of World 5% of investments in Accent Equity Funds.
